Dude Orochimaru could have killed him at any point in that fight. Hell he could have slit his throat before the fight even started. He was just messing around with Hiruzen. He even said it.

As to Itachi and Hiruzen, he bowed to him because he was the hokage and Itachi was a 13 year old kid asking him to protect Sasuke from Danzo.

He was asking a favor. That in no way reflects on strength. Naruto got on his knees to beg the raikage to forgive Sasuke, and Naruto was hella strong then.

If you go back to when Danzo was dying, in his flashback it says that there are 20 no name missing nin who were followers of kin and gin that were trying to kill the Konoha people.

Of those Konoha ninjas, there were two hokages and a man who was later almost a hokage.

They were all some of the strongest ninjas in Konoha at that time and were being chased by 20 men.

7 vs. 20, with 3 of those 7 being kage level and according to you Hiruzen was stronger than everyone that has ever existed. That should be at his prime because that was the day he was made hokage right? RIGHT? And he wasn't even the youngest hokage so we know that he is at least mid 20's.

It wasn't even 3 vs. 1 and every single one of them was scared of no name ninjas.

So **** you and your stupid hype. If Hiruzen was so awesome then he would have been able to fight along all those people and beat those 20 no name ninjas who were followers of Kin and Gin. It wasn't even Kin and Gin themselves.
