Hiruzen Prime
Hiruzen was one of the most powerful shinobi in history. In fact, he was so powerful that he was admired as the God of Shinobi (忍の神, Shinobi no Kami) in his prime. According to Iruka, he was said to be the strongest Hokage that Konoha ever had as well as the strongest of all the five Kage during his era. Even in his old age, Kabuto Yakushi considered him the strongest of the Five Kage at the time of his death. Enma commented on his battle with Orochimaru, saying that it was "miserable" compared to his prime, even though he had clearly been able to hold his own against Orochimaru and two former Hokage without losing his composure. Even in his old age, his chakra was noted for being very strong, causing a dense effect on the atmosphere when released; furthermore, he was known for having immense reserves of chakra in his youth. He was also the longest living and longest reigning Hokage. Hiruzen also had keen senses, being able to track down the Hokage under Hashirama Senju's Bringer-of-Darkness Technique.

Hiruzen was called The Professor (プロフェッサー, Purofessā), due to his mastery of all forms of shinobi combat, and his vast knowledge of techniques, purportedly knowing all the techniques within Konoha.

I think Hiruzen got this his a master of genjutsu he most know how to work with genjutsu and not be caught by them and has enma to protect him will a genjutsu and to get him out of a genjutsu

Like Minato i think at his prime he most have know how to make Death reaper release go farther than getting just close

He was consider at old age strongest kage at his time that mean A,Onooki,Mei,Garra Fathers and this was at old age

He was call the profesor for know every jutsu from konoha that include FTG,Rasengan,Fire Ball Jutsu,8 gates and many more that aint from a clan

We know everyone know how strong was the 1hokage and 2hokage and 4hokage and they still consider the Third Hokage "The God Of Shinobi"

You can't really compare, because we as viewers have only seen like 5 jutsu of thousands that Hiruzen can perform. But I would still go with Hiruzen in his prime. To be named God of Shinobi is a huge deal.

Hiruzen probably had a huge chakra base when he was younger thats a huge advantage because he knows so many jutsus

LOL i dont think it will ever hold Gai 6 gates POWERFUL and Hiruzen at old age was given a 5 at taijutsu and was capable of holding his ground with 1 hokage and 2 hokage with ease i think he know that technique

Do you think he would use the eight gates? Practically everybody knows about the eight gates but no one uses them except Guy and Lee. Lee because he has to, and Guy because he is crazy.

I don't believe that in any lifetime Hiruzen would have ever used the eight gates.

He does know he knows about Madara and madara had all does attack 1 hokage survive meaning he most have told everyone about does jutsu and what about shisui am pretty sure he know even about KA shisui was a good guy who all he wanted was peace plus kakashi know about MS when it saw itachi open his eye

i'm sorry, where was madara when he was being trained by the 1st n 2nd hokage? not saying hiruzen was there to witness madara fighting like oonoki, but its not like Itachi was the only person ever able to use those techs.... btw is it official that shisui had MS as well? i dont feel like going back lol

I bet you couldn't give me one scenario where Hiruzen pulls off a win.


Give Hiruzen all the jutsus in Konoha other than KG, hidden clan stuff, FTG, and give him Enma. Now please try and come up with a scenario where he wins.

If you can do it, and do it well, without spouting BS I make a vow right here and now that I will give you all of my kumi.

Requirements to the deal:
1)Don't make up BS jutsus that we haven't seen.-- What mean by this is don't say "Well he might have had something" Use any non-kg jutsu, or hidden jutsu you want that Hiruzen could possibly have used in life (even though odds are he didn't know all of them I will allow you to use any Konoha jutsu)

2) Be realistic about his speed and chakra levels

3)That is it for now, if you say something insane though I will make a new rule accordingly.

So there you have it, all my kumi for making me believe that Hiruzen has better odds than Itachi of winning. Not just one crazy far-fetched scenario, but legitimate counters to Itachi's moves.

It should be easy enough if Hiruzen wins "with no doubt".

Didn't itachi beg Hiruzen for help? oh i know it was because to protect sasuke, but lets not forget something hiruzen was a bloody genius and could hold his own against 2 hokage while being attack by orchi. and with what you said about itachi using susanoo, well that would be pointless since 3th could have done Reaper Death Seal. and if Genjutsu with Sharingon was all that i am sure Madara would have spam it when he had his chance's to take over leaf in his prime. the most important part to understand is Hiruzen was no push over, the only reason he die was because he had to seal his former masters and i doubt itachi would last 5mins with him or the other 2 hokage. Itachi has low stamia, and he can't spam MS for lond periods of time, he can't mentain Susanoo like sasuke cant for long periods of time either. (-------> After seeing bee mop the floor with Sasuke MS i high doubt Itachi could even be a good match for Hiruzen= High speed type jutsu fire/Tai jutsu + many other jutsu that he was sad to have mastered which was never shown.
the only thing that Itachi has that will bug Hiruzen is his Amats, the rest well that all depends on itachi Stamina and since its low all Hiruzen has to do is outlast him.

I would give this to Hiruzen, just cause of the hype, If he really was strongest kage of his era ( stronger than third/fourth raikage ) , and he knew about sharingan, if he really knew all the jutsus in konoha (knew but couldnt perform them).
