Since it doesn't elaborate on how Tobirama does it. I'd like to think he uses a seal like Minato.
He would put a seal on his enemy's chest. Then perform a slash like the one in the chapter, and simply teleport right in front of Izuna to finish it.

For all we know Minato is known as the Yellow Flash because of his S/T jutsu and if people can see a flash when he's using it, maybe is S/T jutsu doesn't involve going into another dimension like Obito.
Naruto when in KM is said to move just like the Yellow Flash, but we know that Naruto doesn't have S/T jutsu.

And then Minato is also known to be able to travel great distances in an instant which Naruto can't do, so IMO the FTG has different abilities or different level of speed (or S/T juice whatever you wanna call it)!

May be tobirama tech is same too a sword slash with high speed movement

Zoro from One Piece has a attack named Onigiri so the giri must be slash and hiraishin means FTG. FTG Slash xD

In Japenese, "ki" sometimes changes into "gi" if it is a combination of a word like, in this case, hiraishin kiri goes into hiraishingiri
Look for yourselves, there are more examples of this change in the japanese words.
So yea: Hiraishingiri mean Flying Thunder God Slash/Cut/Blade

Well, the moniker comes from, when he teleports, all you see is a flash. If he is "teleporting", then he must be going to a different dimension. Summoning and reverse summoning are S/T jutsu and that's the basics of Minato's technique. FTG = S/T

Just to clarify Minato wasn't called the yellow flash because of FTG, that was because of his base speed, nobody saw anything when Minato teleported, he left this space and time momentarily before appearing in a new location, it left no sign of movement, hence it's deadly nature, the yellow flash moniker was his normal speed using the body flicker. xd

Minato himself confirmed that Tobirama had space/time Jutsu. And now we see Tobirama use a technique with "Hiraishin" in its name and people doubt it was a space/time jutsu? It seems pretty obvious... unless Kishi confirms that it's NOT a space/time, assuming a link exists between the Hiraishin techniques. (As space/time jutsu) is a pretty damn safe bet.

Why wouldn't it be S/T?? It obviously says hiraishin. The same as minato. Minato also confirmed that he has S/T.
