Hiraishin? Explain this..

We've seen Minato warp with Hiraishin totally armless...I never understood how he did it. Is it possible that Hiraishin can be executed with merely a thought? It would fit the theme of being lightning fast, allowing the user to be as fast as they can think, which isn't to far fetched.

can anyone shed light on this?

Hand seals aren't necessary, that's evident. The only requirement for transportation is that either the user or their chakra is touching the target.

When Minato did that, he teleported himself to the kunai and then himself and the Gudoudamas touching his back.

Your own signature gif shows Tobirama using Hiraishin without hand-seals. Also Hiraishin is a space-time Ninjutsu which means that it is instant, not lightning fast.

Hiraishin warps with thought because in many cases like when Minato reacted to A's speed, after grasping the situation, he instantly flew away. And whatever connected with the user physically or with chakra gets warped to the seal, simple.

I'm aware you don't need hand signs, Minato did it without his left and right arms. Hiraishin itself is instant, the execution of it is not. Lightning fast was referring to the process of a thought.

may be if someone uses the same jutsu for years they will reach a point where they don't need to make any hand signs for that particular signature jutsu and the time needed to reach that points depends on the user

What did I even say to offend you ? lol
You spoke of Minato using Hirasihin with no arms, which I understood as a hand seals implication so I said that Tobirama himself used it without hand signs. Not sure why that startled you so much.
