Exactly nothing. And, Iruka's own elder brother description is more than what Hinata has going for. She hasn't been changed since her creation, at least not greatly. She was never well written, nor did she get much development. Making a bad character.

Her character was not bad it was her writing. And I blame Kishimotto more for this than her. Actually I would have liked the whole K11 to be better written.

Kishimotto developed K11 very poorly.

Asuma was the Academy teacher.He taught kids who would turn out to be the some of the greatest legends - Naruto,and Sasuke,he also taught Sakura,Shikamaru,Choji,Ino,and Hinata.

Iruka build up the foundations for many kids who later became Shinobi,some of which became outstanding Shinobi such as Shikamaru.Shinobi are the mility power of not only their village,but whole country.

Everyone on K11 far out beats Hinata including Ino,who was a character who definitely needed more panel/screen time.

Her appearance alone screams she needs more panel/screen time.

If you can honestly sit there and believe that K11 got enough screen time it deserved in part 2, Than you really need reread the manga again. Yes its true Hinata's character revolves around Naruto but the reason it does is because she finds him as a form of strength in her life. This is not a bad trait since most characters revolve around other characters in this series. Your completely brushing away her good points and making it her bad points.
