Neji should be better than hinata though. But sight range does not mean better mastery over the Byakugan. The byakugan's main strength is being able to see chakra points and the gentle fist.

You do know Neji is seeing small tags at 800 meters and never says that is his limit and Hinata is seeing a huge wide area around the Uchiha compound at 10 km. The last chapter Hiashi used his byakugan to see a village probably at least 100 km away get destroyed. Does that mean his byakugan is better when he already said years before that Neji's byakugan is better than his own. The less you have to zoom in the greater your range just like binoculars which is more or less what the byakugan is. The byakugan is just very advanced binoculars that can see chakra as well.

I think Hinata's byakugan might have a greater range of vision but Neji's has greater focus/can see tiny things better. Like in his fight againt Hinata during the chunin exams, he could see her tenketsu the whole time, to which Hinata was shocked.

Well it's the limit we know so far, and from what we know, Hinata can see further. Considering that i'm a Neji fan(i like Neji much more than Hinata), what you say is total BS. Just that i'm not like other fans who blind themselves because they like a character and hate other characters they don't like. I'm actually neutral and want to have some others opinion(the reason of my thread). Stop hating on Hinata just because she makes Sakura look like a fodder in a non official anime episode
