I just figured they would have gotten everything over with before the Boruto movie with it having major spoilers and all, but I guess everyone going through dream sequences is a grand opportunity to launch fillers. Nonetheless I think this filler will be enjoyable, seeing good Menma and how he stacks up to his counter part and others will be interesting.

Nah I still think they are going to use the opportunity to use fillers with Kaguya backstory and BZ and prolonging Naruto vs Sasuke fight. Even they are done with Part 2, I betta they are going to continue milking by adapting all the Hiden Novels which it took places between 699-700 and add extra fillers in-grating with the gaidens and prolonging the part 3 materials.

This is actually related to narusaku i heard that hinata is suspecting sakura has feelings for naruto so he decides to make her fall for sasuke even though sasuke is a player then since ino shikamaru and choji heard about hinata plan they tried to make it not work out for both of them. Ino enters hinatas body to make it seem like hinata had a thing for sasuke and sasukes heart beats and tries to hit on hinata but by then ino left hinatas body and when the real hinata realized sasuke was trying to hit on him she beats him up lol. Then at the end it shows menma (naruto) asking sasuke what happened to his face then sasuke says something like foreget it. At the end ino says something like as i thought the boy which suits sakura better is no other than the gentle menma. Complex posted this and i went on to read about the dialogues idk if its true or not
