I think you don't even know the plot of the movie, Naruto literally ignores Hinata before the genjutsu, Sakura was pushing Naruto to Hinata since he was too dumb to realise Hinatas love for him

Just reintroduce the love confession and show Naruto that Hinata really has admired/loved him throughout her life. This shit would've taken place after 437 if Kishimoto wasn't a dumbass but whatever.

I really doubt that if he solved the whole shipping war around 450, that he'd lose too many fans.

No, Naruto's "love" for Sakura realistically never went beyond a childish crush - and manga SUPPORTS this through him NOT ever saying that he loved her.
His "love" for Sakura is 100% filler.
