It's not a filler movie, as Kishimoto approved the script, he was even the one who wanted the scarf to be a central focus in the movie, he himself considers it as being Chapter 699.5, he wrote a whole databook on the movie's plot and characters, and he himself approved of the movie's plot, even making changes in certain places as he wished.

Again, like I said, it's better to have a pairing with few yet meaningful moments along side a Movie for damage control's sake than to have a pairing where the woman is abused time and time again, in which the woman doesn't even have any reason to love the man or vice versa, and then suddenly it's all fixed with lol sorry and poking her forehead. Wait, no, it was fixed before that, seeing as how Sakura was willing to heal Sasuke even before he said he was sorry and she wanted to leave Konoha again until he poked her head.
Naruto simply ignore hinata and loved other girl unlike Sasuke who was in a Dark place during the entire shippuden and always tried to cut his bonds because bond is a weakness to Sasuke and he was obsessed with revenge to accept Sakura's love.

Agree, but that's what the LAST movie was made for, and no matter how much you choose to deny it's canon-ness, it won't change a thing. The LAST is NH damage control because it didn't get proper development in the manga, and imo neither did SS, which is why Kishi is planning on making an SSS movie.
