Both did the same, meaning both have similar functions, ei a foreign chakra being combined with the user's own jutsus. So wut can i do both did same thing
Purple color was just for effects
Lame argument, come up with somehting better
Why can't this argument apply to certain lightening users ?Yeah Yeah
smh Yoton differs btn users of different regions
Also, I brought up Sasuke, Tsunade, and Jiriaya as examples that you ignored.
Nothing in terms of colouration in the movie was changed that we saw in the anime aside from Hinata's chakra.SP changes chakra and jutsu's color makes thig look more sparkling

Anime: Dark blue
Movie: Dark blue
Ino’s eyes

Anime: Daffodil yellow
Movie: Daffodil yellow
Byakugan’s vision
Manga: Full Colour
Anime: Black and White

Naruto’s Rasengan

And on that note, I’ll also add that when Hiashi used Eight Trigrams Palms Revolving Heaven at the beginning of the movie to defend himself against Toneri’s puppets, what colour was his chakra? Oh, that’s right, it was blue.

So both Naruto and Hiashi’s chakra colours were depicted as blue, the standard for the anime colouration.
And yet, Hinata’s chakra was purple when she used Eight Trigrams Twin Lions Crumbling Attack, after having met with Hamura, rather than how it was depicted as blue in the anime.

Whether or not the anime changes colours throughout the episodes is irrelevant, as even the Rennigan went from red/white/grey to purple.Color of Sasuke's chidori was white in anime turned blue later dat dosen't mean he got hamura chakra
What matters is that the movie followed the colour depictions of the anime, yet Hinata's chakra colour was changed to purple
Also, I don't recall chidori EVER being white in colour
