Hinata can't lay a finger on Lee, he's too damn fast without even using the gates. And even if Hinata can see Lee it doesn't mean she can react fast enough to react accordingly. It's all about reaction time, and from what I've seen Hinata doesn't have much of it. She couldn't even touch Pain and I doubt he's as fast as Lee or has better taijutsu. Lee takes this easily.

By the way without even opening his gates, he is way way faster than Hinata in every possible way. Im gonna repeat this. Gaara's sand couldnt keep up with Rock Lee when he took off his weights. Do you possibly think Hinata will keep up?

He wouldn't get caught off guard it's not a surprise to him. He knows all about he was teamed with Neji and was his sparring partners. There's nothing she can do to surprise him.

Your making assumptions, he would have reached her before she could use her Palm Rotation.

They only time Hinata could beat Lee is on Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2.

That's a possibility, Lee does tend to be straightforward in his attacks. Kimimaro stated that he wasn't able to touch him because of that, but Hinata isn't Kimimaro and that was a long time ago. I'm sure Lees patched up the wholes in his game, taijutsu is all he does brotha.

He wouldn't be caught off guard because he trained with Neji and when he took off his weights he would charge at Gaara and disappear to catch Garra's sand off guard.
