Hinata vs Pein the feeels

Hinata must be applauded for the courage she had shown against an opponent who destroyed the village in a single attack. Her intervention is what actually changed the tide of the battle against Pein.

She must be given credit along side Naruto for saving the village against Pein while others were hiding in a corner calling for Naruto to save their ass.

The filler in Naruto and Boruto is different. Everything added in that hinata fight was filler. but in boruto series there's no filler at all since the one writing the manga is the same one writing the anime

And yet I very clearly remember you defending Naruto vs Sasuke's filler too when it came out.

My favourite scene of the whole fight aerial rotation GF mastery the acrobatics were surreal. Even LB knows of this scene and it's high standing.

Kishimoto did what was right - he displayed that the difference between her and Pain is immeasurable since she didn't even last two panels against him. The extra animation was unnecessary.

I rooted for her because she was trying, it was respectable and because of it i wished her effort didn't have to go to waste.

Kishimoto didn't have to put her there to show difference in power. Naruto already did that, she was solely there for pairing shenanigans

I can't disagree with facts.

Personally Hinata's confession and death should've happened. Naruto would understand loss and pain it would've served as a constant reminder to him. And pain should've have revived anybody except Kakashi. Naruto would need his guidance and counsel at this time.

OT: I agree that battle needed Hanabi Hime's solo it was a little dry minus Hinata's aerial rotation

Fan or not, people were generally rooting for her in this moment, at least that's what I like to think. It was suspenseful but she got swatted down in the end.

It’s true. This is pretty much the only time I was routing for Hinata and actually felt genuine concern for her character...and a bit of pride. A shame she couldn’t do more but she did enough.

I just think it would be cool to see a wife struggle to fight for her husband, and considering how Hinata's fight usually end up with her getting beaten to death. They could make it really emotional like the Pain fight.
