Moreover Hyuuga taijutsu is useless since Pain deva is a freaking zombie. Only if she can remove the sticks while doing the 64 fists, blocking the chakra tunnels of a dead body is useless. A palm strike would have been more efficient I think because parrying this like he did at CQC is nearly impossible.

OT-Feats are two types, important and unimportant. I think that feat wasn't important.
There are fair bit of chances that Pain let himself get hit on purpose.

From what i remember there was a panel showing that Nagato coughed while get the hit.

Yes she could land a hit on a non moving/ non controlled Deva path. You do know when Nagato coughed he lost control of Yahiko's body for a moment which means he can't move, defend or use Jutsu which is why Hinata landed a hit.

None of this was in the Manga. It was filler.

And I think Deva path was dodging her hits and was not fighting her seriously either way. Her real feat was showing off twin lion fists for the first time.

Sorry i see now its filler. But her me out. In the last they show flashbacks more specifically they show some flashbacks of hinata confessing her love to Naruto about to fight pain. Since the last is canon and they implemented this part of the anime does this not make it canon?
