This is going to sound like I'm reaching but

Deva path's taijutsu was more or less on par with TSM Naruto yet he had to use ST on her given the speed and range she was closing in on him.

She was maybe a step in a half from tagging the him.

I second this.

It would've been a good match-up. I reread the Pein Arc and it is laughingly terrible with how easily the 6 Paths of Pein and Konan stomped the Leaf Shinobi.

Plus, if we take the Anime/Game scenes to be canon, then it was Konan who defeated and recruited Sasori to the Akatsuki. With Sasori's hype of destroying an entire nation, and killing the "strongest Kazekage". The trio of Leaf Chunin would've had a chance to show their stuff, against and elite like Konan.

They'd perform better than Izumo and Kotesu (desk jockey chunins) that's for sure.
