Hinata has a better chance against Pain. She broke the chakra rods off of Naruto's back. I doubt Sakura could do that. One ST is enough to knock her back. The Gentle Fist puts up a fight compared to a fodder punch plus Sakura doesn't have the guts to go up against a strong enemy. She is not like Hinata who breaks the rules to save her loved ones.

Hinata would die against Pain in 2 seconds.
hAs lots of chakra reserves and she can heal so Sakura will last more,even if she gets Shinra Tenseid she'll heal herself.
But the another pain can laser cut her head and give her a new hairstyleftw...
