OT: Not really a fair logical deduction that war arc neji and hinata are portrayed equals due to fightin alongside eachother.
Its flawed due to the fact that kishi himself portrayed neji as bein the better hyuga due to him bein her teacher along with the fact that she struggled to do 64 palms an had to yet again rely on her teacher to do this feat , which part1 neji would call childsplay .

Neji was praised as the best genius in all the hyuga clans "history" meannin out of all the millions of members of a clan of gifted fighters neji was the most skilled , stated by members of his clan.

The god of shinobi at the time confirmed this as fact when he saw only a bit of neji's skill in the chunin exams , this comin from a person who was old enough to see hiashi and even hiashi's dad in their prime says alot about neji's skill/genius , so no way can u put him and hinata on the same skill level when he has quotes like that backin him up , unless u hav scans or a quote of somone hinting such a notion about honata's skill in manga , so war arc hinta is still leagues below neji by portrayal an common sense.


In regards to the last version of hinata we really hav ntn to go on apart from the fact that she is still a "chunin" while sakura made jonin , so again by portrayal neji(jonin ) is still above the last hinata(chunin ) so if u hav any problems with that then take it up with kishi .

There is also the fact that hinata showed ntn new in the last at all.

I would say the last Hinata is equal to Neji but Neji will always have an up on Hinata because of rotation which Hinata has yet to show.

This is a manga fact that no level-headed person can deny; even by the War, she was barely able to do Rokujūyon Shō and even then she had to stop half way; Part 1 Neji was doing it easily and fluidly; no stumbling or stopping. Also, Part 2 still couldn't do Kaiten, unlike Part 1 Neji.

Still not convinced? Neji's databook stats (which accounts for only skills) at the Sasuke Retrieval Arc in Part 1 was 25, Part 2 Hinata was at 21.5.

Part 2 Hinata's score puts her half a point ahead of Part 1 Neji up until the end of the Chuunin Exams, but even then, Neji showed much great mastery over Rokujūyon Shō and had Kaiten even then.

Neji was always portrayed to be superior to Hinata, and has the feats to back up this assertion. Saying that them fighting side by side means that Hinata is equal to Neji is faulty logic. That's like saying that they are greater than or equal to Hiashi because they fought together with him, and we all know that's not true.

Do not get me started on TL where Hinata still does not showcase any FEATS, War Arc Neji is still superior to her. :lol

As long as battle ability is concerned, not counting the movies (which i haven't seen) Neji is vastly superior to Hinata. Maybe Hinata has shown a better use of her byakugan to track from a long distance, but in battle it's not even close.

Hinata's byakugan was always superior. Only her taijutsu was inferior.
