That's all she did because that's all she had screen time for. She was a side character after all (and not even a super relevant one). That is the problem with you Hinata bashers. You speak as if Hinata had equal screen time/plot relevancy/development/opportunity/etc as a main character such as Sakura to show her worth as a character, and then you use this lack of development as a basis to call her trash.

Even so, a kind and unbiased girl is better than a lusty girl who sides with Sasuke just for looks alone.

Had hinata been developed she would have been even shown more shy and more fails just likes Sakura lmfao!!!! Lack of Development is the double edge blade that made her character tolerable

Main Heroine Discussion

Hinata Part I was a better female character than sakura

Why?
A: She actually had a background:

- Failed heiress of a prestigious doujutsu clan
- Main vs Branch issue
- Loser

All this things would give a good development to the story and the way they were brought up seemed interesting without any effort and made fans wonder from the start.

Sakura Part I

Sakura is a good female character and heroine for the series yet her introduction left us lacking

Where it went wrong???
A: Kishi should have introduce her parents earlier on the manga (something like her life at home and their view on she being a shinobi). He could have shown the difficulty of not coming from a prestigious clan, since the point of her character was to be more human. We nothing about her outside shinobi life besides her rivalry with Ino over Sasuke.

- She was the best female student of the class yet she didn't show much on her early ninja days
- She had no ninja ambition
- Her backstory had nothing to add to her shinobi life(forehead insecurity????)

So someone who's a bigger fodder in class and disappointment to their clan is a better story... well we already had someone for those position that's naruto and sasuke. The whole changing clan idea is just boring and over used. Rather have a annoying girl than a worthless girl development. Stop day dreaming and just write your own Hinata story of all her fails and no improvement since part one to part two. That sounds like fun.and that hair cut in part one

I'm for it, cuz then everyone would hate her for the crapper development she would have as a main character and like Sakura more for being trained by a sannin and achieving current power levels also being Sasuke's wife as a side character.

Tsunade would not have trained Hinata if she was on team 7. Her whole dynamic would have had to change. So being a sannin disciple if it was swapped would not work for her. PErsonal opinion.

On my point of view, Hinata would still bring something to the plate:

- Sasuke would have flashbacks of the Uchiha pre-massacre
- Naruto and Hinata can relate to each other
- There would be more Neji and Kakashi/Hiashi interactions would be interesting

Can you genuinely say that Hinata being the heroine wouldn't be interesting and add something to the story?
