Yep. Disappointment because Sakura in Part 2 (early stages) was becoming a great character because of the lack of Sasuke in her life.
Naruto in Shippuden was actually becoming a great character, but his reactions towards Sasuke was leading him up for failure (Such as Orochimaru mentioning his name and he went Kyuubi mode).
and Hinata who should of overcame her shyness and become a strong shinobi for the Hyuuga clan. Showing her father that she was not a failure, but nah.

It’s like you can’t even understand how writing works. Of course Hinata’s not gonna be shown doing such thigs over Shikamaru’s death because she is irrelevant to his character, not to mention her personality wouldn't allow for that. Did Shikamaru show any actual concern when he found out Hinata had been attacked by pain? No. Not at all. Did Gai, Tenten, Hiashi, or any of the K11 show any sadness over Neji? No. Oh! Here’s the best one…. did Shikamaru show any sadess over his dad dying? Nope .

Why do you care if she doesn't show sadness over someone she hardly knows despite him not even dying ?

I am just saying how deep her emphasis being all about Naruto was compared to all other trivial moments which go out of public notice as they are trivial.Hence when more and more evidence piles up about these thinga,the other characters are excused as they are not that centred around someone.Thats your intrepretation of things.Mine differs but lets leave it at that
