And Zabuza is one of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist. Hidan is immortal, so it's not surprising Kakuzu couldn't kill him.

? theres no logic behind it its true ? im not saying hidan or zabuza would win because of that .. im just saying the akatsuki are stronger then the Swordsman if you dont belive mee well theres something wrong haha
