Because Kakashi is one of the smartest ppl in the village Hidan is to arrogant because he is immortal and that would be his downfall.

like kakashi was? i told you in taijutsu and threat perception, hidan is kakashi's equal whereas zabuza was helpless in 1 vs 1 taijutsu vs part 1 kakashi.

where in OP did it say it was IC? and immortality is a huge advantage. one mistake and zabuza falls. if zabuza was so good at cutting peoples heads off at the start of a battle, then kakashi would have been dead

Exaclty, Kakashi was fighting Zabuza and protecting 3 genin and old man at the same time and Zabuza coudn't even make a single scratch on them...

Hidan trolled Asuma in taijutsu while Shikamaru pressuring him...

I really really really like this matchup, this matchup has literally NEVER crossed my mind before, thank you for the originality...with that being said I think if Zabuza figured out Hidans jutsu fast enough then he would have a chance of coming up with a counter strategy, remember how he came up with a counter strategy of how to fight Kakashi after fighting him one time. Although for the most part Hidan is the superior opponent and I would put my money on him winning but Zabuza has a chance.

This is wrong. In every aspect of the word wrong.
The only reason Kakashi was able to get Zabuza was because of his nin dog summons. Fog>sharingan so fog>normal eyes. And Hidan has no sense of smell feats. He takes a loss here, deal with it.

Zabuza;s BEHEADER blade chops Hidan in half. Zabuza was even able to decapitate Gato's head with a kunai....he doesn't even need his sword to decapitate Hidan

WTF? Hidan stomps! Zabuza doesn't know about Hidan's immortality so as soon as he tries to cut him it's over, and if Zabuza tries to use Hidden Mist Hidan can extend his scythe to reaach inside the mist.
