Not true. Suigetsu's body is unaffected by physical attacks like I said. That includes Hidan's scythe. Suigetsu can be physically captured though. He is able to selectively liquify different parts of his body, which is why he can still hold his sword. His body is of flesh and blood, the liquefaction of his body is a jutsu of his clan. The lightning style is Suigetsu's weakness, as I said earlier. He is also able to be hit by ninjutsu or energy attacks like the eight tails's tailed beast ball. The water isn't equivalent at all and won't work for hidan's curse. It is not blood. Hidan can't hurt him at all.

Hidan turns black and white when he completes his curse jutsu because that is simply the visual effect of his jutsu, it has no special reason. The black rod he has been seen with is an ordinary black rod with no special abilities. He's often seen impaling himself on it to kill opponents he has cursed, and seems to lay there for while and enjoy the pain. Users of the Rinnegan can create black receiver rods from their bodies that has disrupt someone's chakra and immobilize them if it pierces you, but that is entirely separate from Hidan's rod.

That's a misconception. Are you telling me the nibi bijuu was suppressed by a normal no-name rod ? It's of course the same thing , or atleast the same type of material as pain restrained rokubi's chakra with those rods . They served the same purpose .
