Easy. Kakuzu's long range would help him against Hidan's short. Plus, his earth harden jutsu would prevent blood.

Kakuzu is probably my favorite akatsuki and a very intelligent shinobi but I don't see him beating Hidan because he lacks sealing, or superior intellect of someone like shikimaru, as well as no teleportation, all it takes for Hidan is a blood or DNA sample.

He doesn't need sealing. All he needs to do is take Hidan's head off.


Hidan is an idiot while Kakuzu isn't. Kakuzu easily wins.
