Hidan only has taijutsu.

His only other ability he's shown takes a ton of time, and is impractical in a 1 On 1 fight.

His immortality is a joke. He's still as frail as a human, and can be crushed, sliced, buried, etc.

And shinobi Jonin or above can safely beat Hidan.

Don't say that, Hidan's taijutsu is clearly above average. He's at the bottom of the food chain among the S-class shinobi, but he can beat many Jounin. If he gets one scratch, you're done for, and burning him won't do much, as we saw with Asuma. His scythe can also extend, which makes it even more practical for taijutsu and he's seen to pressure his opponents into barely being able to use taijutsu since he went toe-to-toe with Kakashi.

But Lee is very good with Taijutsu, don't think you can compare those two.

One scratch =\= Done for.

His ritual takes forever to perform. He'll never be able to use it.

Depends if the person facing Hidan has info on him, then Hidan will lose but if they don't then Hidan will in my opinion win.
But you have to take on consideration who exactly is facing Hidan as well. I think he can take out Jounin, but not S-class and above.

The only thing he has to do is lick the blood and draw the circle, from that moment, even if they "kill" Hidan, they will both die, he doesn't necessarily have to do it himself.

So it depends on who he fights, if he fights any of the S-class+ shinobi and even some Jounin, he'd get his ass handed to him.

Well, he did tank Kakuzu's Fuuton blast. He took a direct hit and didn't get a scratch, while the blast blew apart trees. Hidan is very durable.

It's a complex circle to draw, and honestly who's going to sit there and let him draw it?

He was also blown apart by a couple dozen bomb tags.

i respectfully disagree. there isn't a whole lot known about hidan besides the fact that he is mainly a taijutsu user, is immortal, and is a devout jashin worshiper. the fact that he is in the akatsuki is a sign that he is more powerful than a lot of other shinobi. I think that his "other ability" is perfect for a one v one fight apposed to a multi-ninja fight, especially since other shinobi he would be fighting wouldnt know the trick of how it works. (I'm sure one can find proof of this in the fight with Asuma, but i dont want to take the time). As for the immortality, it severs more as a means of battle than not being able to cut, crush, sliced.. etc. as when others would need to dodge a kunai he simply wouldnt.

Didn't he drop Asuma 4v1? I don't think Kakuzu was involved in that confrontation, except the head sewing part and holding down Koketsu and Izumo.
