In the anime, the time the RS going to destroy the target, we saw the blood throughout the body of Kakuzu and you can make sure by yourself.

But do not think that hidan can hurt the old super ninja. the diffrence level Between these two is very huge.

Nagato - Hidan has simply no way to get to hand to hand combat against him. Shinra tensei... Asura path..... Hidan is no match at all.... hell he'll get his god damn soul ripped out, no more praying for him.
Itachi - Your fastest character after Minato, Raikage and Naruto. His jutsu speed outclasses anyone else's. Hidan would loose to genjutsu before he knows it... and even without genjutsu.... Hidan will be torned to shreds by Crow clones and kunais....
Sasori - If he stats inside his puppet body...... not even worth talking about it.... otherwise.... he just summons his mass puppets and rapes hidan.
Kakuzu - He knows Hidan best..... with a body made of rock.... Hidan can't possibly be get a scratch on him.
Deidara - Bombs bombs and bombs.... Hidan doesnt have Sasuke's speed or elemental advantage.... where Sasuke succeeded... Hidan will fail instantly


Hidan is not anywhere near being top 5.... when paired with Kakuzu who can put him together.... sure he is rediculously dangerous.... but if he faces someone alone..... as soon as his opponent shows great abilities in speed or anything that slow down or immobolize him.... he is severly nerfed down.

Actually he can 1 shot sasori because he has a puppet body and with 100 puppets can easily take his head off

He cant one shot kakuzu because he has 5 lives so im not sure what you were thinking when you said that and kakuzu can easily destroy his whole body. Not to mention he can turn his body to stone so hidans attacks have no effect.

Itachi, genjutsu puts him in a comma and keeps him in genjutsu for the rest of his life and or puts him in genjutsu and cuts off his head

Hidan will never get close to deidara and deidara easily destroys his body like shikamaru did

Kisame's shown to be able to take a kill shot and easily be healed by his sword(like he did against killer bee) and Kisame can use water dome and take hidans head off

And nagato universal pull and human path to take his soul. Or planetary devastation...

I disagree, Hidan was probably the weakest of the akatsuki members. All he had going for him was he couldn't be killed. He could easily be incapacitated though, and without someone like Kakazu there to stitch him back together his fight would be lost. His ritual he does is deadly but it requires him to draw blood from his opponent first, and i don't see him managing it against many other akatsuki members.
