This guy is IMMORTAL! and can kill you just by acuiring blood!
Image kishimoto strecthing him and gather DNA/Blood and blackingmailing everyone.
Ultimate character.
I wished he wouldn't of died so fast at least not to that shikarmaru guy!
WHy couldn't hidan be revived!
Wait you can't revive someone that isn't dead so
I think his abilities were too overpowered, and he had to go out the way he did. Otherwise he would've been able to kill just about anybody with enough time and no knowledge on him.
Lol true...no just kidding. He wasn´t a fodder(he was trolled by Kishimoto) BUT obviously he is not even top 30.Too many people can crush him with ease.
I don't know why hidan is treated like fodder on the base. he is an s rank criminal strong enough to join akatsuki , strong enough to kill bijuu. hidan can kill with just a scratch . and can tank most ninjas strongest attacks.has a 5 in taijutsu and was fast enough to go toe to toe with kakashi . the fact that he went against the smartest character in the naruto verse ,with days of planning doesn't make him weak !
In all seriousness though, he is one of the weakest Akatsuki in terms of sheer destructive power.
What makes him great, IMO, is that:
1) His abilities are unique and interesting...
especially considering how the series has turned into into something from the likes of DBZ: He has to first acquire the victim's blood, consume it, then use his own blood to create a ritual circle within which damage done to his body will also afflict the victim.
Its a well thought-out and balanced concept, something sorely lacking in Part 2. Take Kakuzu for example. While strong, he is basically a Frankenstein monster who steals the elemental affinity of other people and spams the sh*t out of elemental jutsus. It's been done to death before in other stories.
2) He is a unique villain in that he has no redeeming qualities nor a backstory intended to make him more sympathetic. Case in point:
-Zabuza, a reputed heartless killing machine, actually loved Haku dearly and in the end decided to redeem himself somewhat.
-Orochimaru lost both of his parents and witnessed so much death going on around him that he was pushed to seek immortality.
-Pain was the product of Nagato losing his parents in the Shinobi World War, then witnessing his best friend and hero Yahiko sacrificing himself in a futile effort to get Hanzo to spare Konan. In the end, he also sought peace, just in his own way.
-Obito was originally a fun-loving, good-natured boy who became disillusioned in life after witnessing Kakashi kill Rin, the love of his life and whom Kakashi had sworn to protect. He also seeks world peace, but again in his own terrible way.
-Hell even someone like Kakuzu could be viewed as the victim of his own people, who shunned him after his failed assassination attempt on Hashirama.
The list goes on and on. Hidan, on the other hand, is simply a cold-blooded killer who shows no remorse and has a complete disregard for human life. Even in defeat, he refused to acknowledge his opponent Shikamaru, something that villains in Naruto always end up doing, and instead chooses to spew out profanities and swear revenge. Within the Naruto series, watching a character such as Hidan turned out to be quite refreshing, not to mention thoroughly entertaining.
The problem is that he has to draw that symbol to even kill enemies, and anyone with sound logic should know if you get cut, he changes color, and starts drawing in blood....we have a problem. As soon as the circle is messed up its game over. Anyone with long ranged cutting techs or even good taijutsu or kenjutsu are good to go
