Hidan is nearly fodder one on one, he admitted to having the slowest attacks in the akatsuki, and if he was by himself he would easily get maimed to the point of not being able to continue fighting, with hidan ppl assume just because he's immortal he's unstoppable, he's like an edo that cannot repair himself. Any long range fighters pretty much take the cake if they can disable limbs, anyone with lightning element pretty much has him beat as they WILL disable his scythe.

I could go on all day on why Hidan is pretty much fodder compared to any real ninja, he dies over and over in most 1 on 1's.

Hidan dosen't need speed because he has the long scythe that can extend his reach. He only needs one scratch from it and it's over. Asuma who's member of the Twelve Guardian Ninja lost to Hidan with back up from Shikamaru, Kotetsu and Izumo so dont sleep on him his powerful.

with all due respect, Asuma is weak as $HIT, and even he managed to sever hidans head, kakuzu saved him. Don't get me wrong hidan is strong, but by himself he is nothing.

Hidan was a pretty refreshing and entertaining character. Unfortunately, both him and Kakuzu only lasted one arc. He is no doubt a high jounin level ninja but he is the weakest in Akatsuki.

Hidan & Kakuzu team was the best Akatsuki team in my opinion
