Hidan is Seriously UNDERRATED!

So many people underrate Hidan and it makes no sense!

1v1 he could kill anyone as long as they didn't have info on his curse.
Remember weather or not he has his curse mark formed he is still immortal, so noone would instantly think to cut his head off.

All he really needs is one drop of the person's blood and they are completely finished.

The only way he lost to start, was Shikamaru had a huge trap set especially for him, set up to keep an immortal down.

He could of killed each and every single one of the four shinobi the first time they went up against him with only minor help from Kakazu. The only reason they are still alive is because of Pein.

Rasengan wouldn't phase him, and even Rasenshurikan wouldn't. Stab and cut's don't effect him only decaptation or removal of body parts does. So i think he would even give Naruto a run for his money!

I just don't understand why everyone is underrating him.

His ability is deadly but against ninja that can attack strong from a distant he's nothing.

nah, 1 v 1 once you seriously injure the guy and he keeps coming, the natural thing that comes to mind is to start severing limbs, anyone who can channel chakra around their blades=instant win over his scythe, and hidan said out his own mouth that he's the slowest member of akatsuki.

Tbh without kakuzu he wouldn't last half an episode, and if he makes his circle, all you have to do is mess up the circle, or prevent him from getting in the circle and such. He's the weakest akatsuki, and is on the verge of being fodder, the ONLY thing he has going is immortality.

Yeah, and he held his own while running from multiple shadows!
So he might be the slowest akatsuki member but that is like being the bronze medalist at the olympics, doesn't make you weak my any measure.

And if they get close enough to realize "since most never go for decapitations first because it leaves them to wide open for a counter" that they can't just stab him, it will already be too late. You get within arms length of him and his scythe and your screwed

Hidan is underrated because he isn't a strategic thinker who thinks ahead in combat.

Inability to die means nothing in battle if you're a retard with half a brain.
You will be taken out or neutralized eventually. Had he been half as smart as Kakashi he would still be alive (no pun intended).

Then i said the only way he gets injured in such a way is if he is Blown To Peices.... not from a punch or a stab.

Anyone else with any ranged combat ninjutsu puts him at an extreme disadvantage, the number 1 factor here is ninjutsu, which Hidan has a severe lack of, take away his scythe and spikes, and all you have is hard to kill fodder, without kakuzu even if he gets a drop of blood, who's gonna let him complete his ritual?

The point is though look were he was stabbed by the 2 no name nin.
Practically where it connects your arms to all the vital nerves needed to control the arms. If his nerveendings were either svered or beaten to a pulp i don't think it would make a difference for him.
He can't be injured unless he a body part is severed.

Beating to a pulp requres his bones to break but even if they are broken it hasn't seemed to slow him. As far as we know is that he can only lose use of his body is if the parts are removed from the brain, like a zombie
