he can't blitz hidan, who is quite fast. his line about ''slowest in the akatsuki'' was a precursor reference to his blood curse & was later foreshadowed when he told Izumo & kotetsu ''you got the order wrong'' when the seemingly attacked him w/ a fatal blow.

they will not use mist, nor will Itachi use genjutsu. the reason is because its 2 vs 1.
they will outlast Itachi, 'til he can no lo ger trade sui'tons w/ zabuza, use clones to stall Hidan or diffuse their combined blade strikes w/ crow explosions

Wouldn't matter, Itachi adv in hand/foot speed. he'll inevitably defeat them both with his own suiton/clone releases. worst case scenario they use the mist but unlike pt1 kakashi, itachi clones already had unique ability feints to bait/counter it.
