Or ignore my whole pont? Gai isn't punching chains in half, do you know physics? The force would be distributed throughout the length of the chain, explosions send force all in different directions at once while tearing and ripping as well hence why it was able to break it. Not saying it would kill gai but it would negate him breaking the chain and even may acquire blood. Not to mention Hidan's chains are also used as a weapon and can be thrusted so if Gai ever grabs hold he can be thrown off easily

You seem to think Hidan's just some idiot who lives forever, when in reality his reactions and attack speeds are quite good, Asuma's not disarming him one, and never will he ever be able to pinpoint a decapitation with that weapon.

One I believe the Raiton had a large part in doing that

Two Hiashi is not as strong as either Ay or Bee

Three Hidan's Chain can negate that

But yes I do find it unlikely he comes out on top against these two alone, and his partners are hardly helpful, Give Kimmimaro instead of Kido (whos already been pawned by a hyuuga) And this becomes a tough match
