Kidomaru get's one-shot by Hiashi's Gentle Fist style, Golden armor won't be stopiing his attacks.

Kurenai likewise. Genjutsu isn't working on either of them.

Destroying Hidan's scythe is all that's needed to make him an irrelevant nobody, Which Ghai could easily do.

Asuma's chakra blades 7 fire style are meaningless against to Hiashi's much more superior taijutsu and defenses.

Honestly, either could solo, given the distance.

Team one wins mid difficulty. Though Hidan will be troublesome due to his immortality. I believe gentle fist can paralyse him or Gai can dismember his body.

The others are non factors and get blitzed and killed rather easily.

As for the matchup itself, Team 1 wins. Full intel means Hiashi lets loose with large scale Air Wall Palms at the start, which should take out Asuma, Kurenai and maybe Kidomaru pretty quickly. Guy releases the Gates and cleans up whatever is left with Extreme Lotus/decapitating Hidan with his own scythe or a kunai.

Its harder to create clean cuts and slices then it is to pierce and acquire blood, besides Gai would only be weighed down and slowed with it in his hands, he's not making a pin-point attack on the neck with such a bulky weapon, Hidan would have the advantage with his other weapons if he did.

Yeah Gentle fist I'm not sure if it would work or not, has it been shown to actually paralyze anyone? I can't recall
