Yes, I just read more about it.

On Saturday night’s Olympic telecast, NBC dropped a bombshell. NBC ran a promo for Heroes Reborn, and we’ve confirmed that it’s for real. Heroes will return to NBC in 2015 as an event miniseries with original creator and executive producer Tim Kring at the helm.
NBC has ordered 13 episodes for a new stand-alone story arc entitled “Heroes Reborn.” All the details of storylines and characters are currently being kept under wraps.

“The enormous impact Heroes had on the television landscape when it first launched in 2006 was eye-opening,” said NBC Entertainment President Jennifer Salke. “Shows with that kind of resonance don’t come around often and we thought it was time for another installment. We’re thrilled that visionary creator Tim Kring was as excited about jumping back into this show as we were and we look forward to all the new textures and layers Tim plans to add to his original concept. Until we get closer to air in 2015, the show will be appropriately shrouded in secrecy, but we won’t rule out the possibility of some of the show’s original cast members popping back in.”
The original series chronicled the life-changing stories of a series of unrelated ordinary people who discovered they had superhuman abilities. As the saga unfolded, they learned they were part of a grand plan that brought them together to change the world.
With the return of Heroes Reborn, NBC will launch a digital series prior to the 2015 premiere that will introduce the characters and new storylines.

Naturally, Supernatural was supposed to end at season 5, after that it got worse and worse but you still watch it no?
The difference with Heroes and Supernatural is the hiatus, Supernatural hasn't had a 4 year hiatus, that being said; Supernatural is getting milked, but we are not talking about that.

It is your opinion that it got worse, no? Not mine; I still watch it, cause I enjoy it regardless of it getting milked or not, I still enjoy it. Though, I still don't think they should have gotten renewed for season 10.

Good for them, do I care? No; do the other fans that watch it care? No. I don't see why you are going down this road, not the only show I watch.

I was just saying, I don't see after such a long time after Heroes ended; even more so after such a bad last season, they are going to make another season/spin-off series, and again. I said I was going to watch it regardless, so what is the issue?

are you full of yourself? yes, did you get butthurt for no reason? oh yeah

chill bro im a big fan of SPN its one of the few tv shows worth watching nowadays, while I agree everything is a matter of opinion, I think if you truly loved it in the early seasons, something ought to have changed considering the change in the show after season 5

eric kripke was the genius behind the show, I think you know it

If they manage to make interesting episodes like they had during the 1st season I'll give it a shot.
But honestly, they killed this show and 4 years is a long time to suddenly create a miniseries. Why didn't they make a shortened fifth and final season where questions could be answered and fans could say goodbye? That would've made more sense.

As for the Supernatural debate, yes it should have ended after season 5 but seasons 8 & 9 have been excellent. Ratings are good so what's wrong with continuing?
