Help on buying an Xbox 360???

Hello everyone ^^
I received some money for my B-day and Christmas. I was wondering on buying an Xbox 360. I went to Gamestop today and noticed there are diferent ones:
-Xbox 360 Elite
-Xbox 360 Arcade
-Xbox 360 Pro
-Xbox 360 Core

If anyone could help me on figuring wich is best (since I have no idea on what there diference is).

This is thread is sorta like Riku's thread but with a different console but if you want an xbox and just that then buying the Pro or Core would be a good choice, considering they provide you with the original parts

Sorry I meant it doesn't have any extra accessories that isn't quite needed unless you're planning to play xbox live for a long time

Oh no its ok.
So if I buy the Pro, which it says on Gamestop ot will be around 200$ with tax???

I guess though I gotten my xbox when the price hasn't dropped which was about five hundred. But I don't know what's the price on it now

I would say if your planning on buying the elite which is 300$ why not buy a PS3 Which is 300$ plus you get free online and in xbox360 you have to pay so you could play online

Na, I'm not a real PS3 fan, but Thanks for the suggestion ^^

well I have both an 360 Elite and PS3 so I can say that if you are set on getting a Xbox then get the Elite as you will be getting the biggest bang for you dollar. The Elite has the larger hdd so you can have more room for stuff you download from Xbox Live and more space to put the games on to the hdd.
