well, if your photoshop is
a
Personal
Ivory
Ridiculous
Artificial
Tremendous
Effortless
copy, and your internet is turned on, it might make you some issues,
but nothing more than simply refusing to save your work, or crashing!, etc.
but idk about turning off your whole computer...
Depends on the computer you're using, the common problems
are the
power source, the memory, overheating of the graph card?/not working fan,
etc.?
Questions:
How old is your computer?, How old is your hard disc, how much free space is there? How much is your RAM? Have you reinstalled windows recently?
I had the same problem, but right before the shutdown, I saw flash
of blue screen under the system's bios, it turned out that my motherboard was incompatible with my gfx card, and the second time that my old hard
disk, on which my system was was damaged, I lost all my files in a few weeks and had to buy a new one to fix it...
Now I have no problems, because my PC has Windows xp for the programs (with no internet!) , and Linux for the internet. But you have always to restart when you want to switch functions, but otherwise I had no problems since then...!

(And normally if you reinstall windows with your Hard disc completely formatted (you have to back-up all your important files!), everything is fixed.)

Hope that helps you!
