Cause Kishi pictured Naruto and Sasuke more like brothers.

U don't see the same with Vegeta and Goku....

Having witnessed Naruto and Sasuke go through so much together for so long touches me greatly when I watch their fight against Momoshiki. Seeing two men, who damn near killed each other and caused each much physical and emotional pain, fight alongside each other as bros gives me a joyful feeling unlike any other.
What I wanna know is...how come watching Goku and Vegeta fight together does nothing special to me? They've had a rough friendship as well. Yeah, I like Naruto way more than DBZ, but the feeling I get watching the two former-foes pairs shouldn't be that different. Is it because Kishi's story is just that much more deep than Toriyama's?

see goku and vegeta having come together like naruto and sasuke it hasn't been since battle of gods you see vegeta and goku really get close

Goku and Vegeta are different from the Boruto movie Naruto and Sasuke.

Vegeta is still busy with trying to surpass Goku.
There are still quite some negative emotions in vegeta.
He hasnt found the inner peace that Sasuke has.
Sure Vegeta has started a family and he isnt evil anymore, but he hasnt reached the friendship yet that Sasuke has with Naruto.
Vegeta wants to be seen as the better of the two (Goku and Vegeta).
Sasuke is passed that stage. If Naruto would be a bit stronger of the two instead of equals, the current (current as in Boruto movie) Sasuke wouldnt mind.

Besides both Goku and Vegeta have never liked fighting together (only when they would die if they didnt, and not even always than. They just prefer to fight alone.

Even still in Dragonball Super, when Whis mentions how much more they could accomplish if they would work together well

Goku isnt Naruto either. His character lacks the depth that Naruto has in his personality.
Goku is kinda a goofball and arrogant too at times.
Naruto can be a goofball too, but he really shows wisdom and more maturity than Goku.
Goku also wants to be the best, like Vegeta, but in a different way.


And yeah, Kishi's story is more deep.
