Help me prove a point.

So a friend and I had a short little debate about FTG and we decided to settle it now by getting a consensus. Say Minato tags someone with FTG. That person moves on to travel to literally the other side of the world. Minato would be able to teleport to the person, the same as he would be able to a person a few feet away from him, correct?

I believe he could if they are still in his dimention, not sure if he could teleport to kaguya or obito if they where tagged, but definately if they where in our world.

It should work normally, unless for some reason the distance affects the required chakra, though the manga has never indicated anything of the like.

Well it was never explained how exactly this condition limits Spacetime Ninjutsu or how much of a strain it puts upon the user - or at least I wouldn't remember. The thing is that Minato can teleport to his marks. I do not believe that in his specific usage of S/T the distance is a real factor unlike with Kamui.

yea i believe he could. i don't think distance is a problem. sure its the size of the teleportation that strains chakra immensely .. i.e. the tbb that he still managed to teleport a great distance from the village.

the jutsu is broken. prob why not just anyone can learn it. it took genma and the other 2 members of the hokage guard to teleport mei. and they're considered "elite" guards. so i imagine its not that simple to learn. seems to be the case with most jutsu associated with minato.

I don't know, I just find it impossible to believe FTG is that good with no drawbacks. But whatever
