Easily. It takes a normal human like 8-10 seconds to cover that distance at full speed. Sasuke is a ninja with incredible speed feats. Sasori gets blitzed and even if he won't die, Hiruko gets destroyed for sure.

Since the distance is the same as Deidara vs Sasuke, Sasuke can blitz Hiruko with ease.

But let's say Sasori can react (he probably can), Hiruko shoots of needles, forcing Hebi Sasuke back, eventually after dodging poison senbons Sasuke chidori's Hiruko.

Since feats are the most valuable they outweigh hype and portrayal in this case.
