Prime Nagato had Madara's EYES!! Nagato is on borrowed eyes. It's not like he had his own sharingan and went through the motions. No he had someone's eyes. He can't beat Madara. Madara knows all the Rinnegan's secret because he unlocked it and I'm 100% sure that he tested out all the jutsus so he could get a basic understanding. Madara is a machine bred for war. Hashirama is a machine bred for war. There is no one out there that can solo either of them.

Prime Madara had Eternal Mangekyo. Not Rinnegan.
Madara unlocked Rinnegan when he was an Old Man.
That was when he taught Obito everything he knew before he died.

If we're talking 'bout Prime, Nagato wins this.
Prime Nagato had Rinnegan. Prime Madara only had Eternal Mangekyo.
Rinnegan > Eternal Mangekyo > Mangekyo > Sharingan > Byakugan (ROFL!)

I'm not saying Rinnegan Nagato > Current Madara on the battlefield. Madara would eventually overpower Nagato if that actually happened.

Kabuto is stronger than Nagato, he's got an insane Dragon Sage Mode if he shots Nagato with White rage it's over, with Edo army nagato got no chance, and im Fan of both im not one sided with Kabuto or something.

Naruto's weakness is Chakra Stealing.
Do you know how powerful Nagato would get if Naruto kept on trying to hit him?

Most of all of Naruto's moves require Physical contact and his Jutsu require chakra. Nagato could steal that chakra and take Naruto's soul if Naruto gets too close. Nagato > Naruto. I'm telling you. They just won't accept the fact that Nagato is currently the strongest Child of the Prophecy.

Don't forget nagato was a child of prophecy just like naruto which meant he had the potential to be the strongest ninja who brings peace to the world, naruto took over that role when jiraya choose for him to bring about destruction. I would rank nagato in the same league as madara,hashi,obito and naruto even though he may not be stronger than them its very close

Well no sh*t dsm kabuto> ems madara. What's stupid is that just because nagato obtain the eye the sage has, you think he has all the power in the world. Yet that is not even half, the sage had both uchiha and senju in him, meaning the sage had the sharingan and the rinnegan along with sage mode that hashirama preform. Nagato can only use a weaker scale of just a portion of the rinnegan.

I agree that Nagato is pretty badass but to say he is the strongest I don't agree with that. You made some inaccurate assumptions there like Shinra Tensei knocking down Shinsusenju...The size of Shinsusenju alone is too much and what is to prevent it from doing something like what six tails Naruto did when he resisted it. He also won't be able to pull Madara out of Susano'o....we know it works like armour...if he tried pulling him towards him, he will be pulling Susano'o along with him....and we have seen that Itachi Susano'o was enough to handle Edo Nagato so. I am not saying again that he wasn't badass....I would surely put him as one of the strongest....as many have said here....top 5.....I mean not many can control six corpses at the same time with jutsus with one of the clones soloing a Naruto with six tails....something even Oro couldn't do (I believed he faced a three tails Naruto was it?)

So conclusion...yes badass prolly top 5......# 1 badass no way

you out of your mind? if anything hiruzen is the weak link. Obito manipulated the akatsuki alone not including the rinnegan and mokuton justu. Minato easily beat obito in terms of speed and he took out the strongest attack of the kyuubi with one move. He can easily take nagato's head before even realizing it's on the ground

lol BM naruto is a bunch a chakara, preta path is the reason Naruto cannot beat Nagato. all his attacks are chakara based even his tijutsu is used with the cloack, get anywhere near nagato and he will have his cloack absorbed just like Bee did. and if he trys to spam tbb they will get absorbed as well. He will have better luck staying in sage mode.


And to OP i think Nagato is third only to Hashirama(not by a huge margin) and Rinnegan Madara.
