This a poem i wrote for school

He Wonders

He wonders if he’ll be the type of guy
To live in the very thing he drives
He wonder what life has in store
If on him it’ll shut the door
He wonders if it’s the opposite
If he can stop it
From dropping him
He wonders if he’ll be the kind with no worries
Problems to him are just flurries
He wonders if he’ll have wealth
He wonders if he’ll have good health
He wonders why he is here
And sometimes out of fear
Wonder if its worth it
To battle a hopeless battle on being perfect
He wonders if all he has is hope
But to him, fate is a joke
He doesn’t believe in not doing things for yourself
No mystical force in the universe will come to help
He wonders if hard work is truly enough
To stop his life from being unruly and rough
He wonders if hard work is all you need
To truly achieve your dreams
He wonders if there’s some secret
If not, how can he cheat it?
Here of course he’s referring to death
Wondering if this very step
Could very well be his last
So he chooses not live in the past
All he focuses on is the future and present
His choices he hopes he doesn’t resent
Yes, they told him to make choices so he chose this
And hes sticking to it till hes pushing roses.
