Am i the only person who hates doffy for being a good villian, but like him cause hes pretty epic. I like how he rarely loses his cool but when he does the veins grow on his head and he gets that epic deep killing intent voice.

damn... I wish he would join the strawhats man

He's cool, the best OP villain imo, he's the only villan iirc that respects and cares for his subordinates, I was tired of people like Lucci (who took out Nero just to be bad) or Akainu who took out fodder Marines just cos why not

No that's completely natural and he was a good villain. The way he used people to do his dirty work for him made it very difficult for the Straw Hats to beat him. His own arc brought the best out of him in terms of natural ability.

But the next villain is just gonna get worse from here, we've alsready seen how brutal Jack is in other countries. Joker was right.

Did you forget what Doffy did to Bellamy? Pretty much the same as Lucci did to Nero, even worse I guess, if we count how long they know each other.

I actually don't like him very much even as a villain. Standard villain acts all high and mighty and rages when things go the wrong way and then pretends like he has it all under control. Also he laughs way to much in the worst situations. I feel like he was never a relatable character and so I don't like him. Not even as a character. I mean he's not the worst villain, but I just saw way too much of him for my taste. I wish he got defeated 30 chapters sooner.

Doffy killed his brother. I knw he was a traitor but still he could handle things differently :(
His brother was against all he stood for as a villain, my original post was referring to villains that have trust issues with their subordinates, like every other villain, Doffy never once called any of his family weak (Bellamy was not really a member, when the tontatta were expounding the family tree he was not there), even when Trebol and Diamante failed their duties he behaved like Luffy would

Doffy loved his brother. When he heard Corazon betrayed him Vergo beat the hell out of him & Doffy finished him.
Don't compare him with Luffy.
Nami betrayed Luffy. Luffy didnot killed her at Arlong Arc.

Yeah Luffy wouldn't go that far but if Nami tried to have them killed or (actively stood in the way of Luffy becoming PK) he'll have to do something decisive, Doffy was a villan, so killing wasn't out of his reach

That's what I m sayin he could handle things differently but oda wants to show how evil Doffy was that's why he killed his brother & father in his flashback.
Law should have killed him at Dressrosa.
Nah Luffy would never torture/kill Nami even if she tried to stop Luffy from reaching his dream.

Surely Doffy was evil, but even in his darkness he still respects his comrades and they reciprocate it
Generally in OP it's only Gecko Moria and Doffy that have regarded their comrade as something more than just tools, though Gecko moria ultimately feels comrades draw you down.

Yeah, i like Doffy aswell. DD is definately the best villain Luffy has faced so far. DD isn't just an awesome character, he'd good at what he does and thats being a villain. The guy is pure evil and actually has his own twisted reasons for it. Many villains are evil "just because" mut DD is rotten to the core which is why i love him.

How could you get tired of Lucci? Lol Lucci actually was very different from the rest of OP villains, he wasn't even the instigator, it was Spandom, Lucci was simply a guy who wanted a good fight, and he got one.

Lucci was unique in that he hardly even talked, let alone talk about himself like the rest of OP villains, he was just battle hungry.

The rest of the villains, could care less about fighting Luffy, heck they would prefer not to.

Crocodile, Enel, Moriah, Doffy. All main grand line villains.

Well, you're right, the fact that he took out Nero just left a bad taste, just telling Nero to scram would have done it for me and it'll have genuinely made it look that he cares only for the strong

If you think about it. Nero was very much like Bellamy was to Doflamingo.

A fake member of the group. Both weren't officially a part of their respective groups.

Doffy treated Bellamy like shit, and Lucci disposed of Nero likewise.

Lucci was very different from the rest of the villains, so you can't really get tired of him but I think what you meant was Doflamingo had a side to him which showed empathy for those very close to him regardless of their strength. He always forgives his close members regardless of their failures as long as they didn't betray him, so in that regard yes Doflamingo was unique.

Surely Doffy was evil, but even in his darkness he still respects his comrades and they reciprocate it

Also Gecko Moriah was the exact opposite, he saw his underlings as disposable and replaceable tools. He was building an army of Zombies for a reason. To him that's all they were, even more so than anyone else.
