Maybe Hashirama's is Hawk Sage Mode.

On this page, we can see his SM markings clearly. We can see that the markings extend around his eyes and become more prominent in the top corners. Not only that, but his pupils dilate. This is very similar to the markings of some hawks.

Not only that, but he has the target marking on his forehead. The hawk is very commonly associated with the target for different reasons, for example, catching it's prey.

They do look pretty similar, especially with the eyes dilating the way you said as anyone who goes sage mode gets the same type of eyes as the animal they trained from. I think I just find it odd that Hashi would know some Hawk sage mode but your thread definitely makes it look possible.

Not Mokuton. That tech started in the Hidan and Kakuzu arc. The monk bol used it. Its not a mokuton tech.

I don't think thats mokuton sage mode, he used mokuton while in sm like how naruto uses futon in his sm.
