So i know when the question "how did hashirama die?" it's usually answered by things like Old age

Well Those who say old age are proven wrong when Hashirama was resurrected by Orochimaru and he still looked pretty young, so others then say he died from an illness, but i recently thought of something, when Hashirama was resurrected he was wearing his battle armour, if you're dying from an illness why would you wear battle armour, it's not going to protect you from it, and it can't be more comfortable than casual clothes, so the only other possible explanation i can think of is he died in battle,
Maybe he was ill and it caused him to be weakened in battle and led to his death, give me your opinions
