Hashirama vs Minato

um, OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOK, so you think that Minato (who almost lost to Madara´s former shell) can defeat Hashirama? (who defeated FULL COMPLETE MADARA) yea, very logic

It was said by both kishi and even in the start of Naruto that the 4th was the "Best of the Best"
I'm still confused to how Madara Uchiha can loose to some scrub that has wood style jutsu's... The 1st never even "created" any strong tech.

It's cute how everyone just thinks the 1st is strong just cause he owned Madara...
I don't know how to put it in words so I'll just use a quick reference.
Just pretend that... (Yeah it's kind of lame I'm refering it to pokemon but you get the point)
Madara = Grass
1st Hokage = Fire
Minato = Water
Okay just cause Fire(1st hokage) beats Grass(Madara) doesn't mean that Fire(1st Hokage) can now beat water(Minato).
For those who said Minato almost lost to Madara...
1.) He never lost.
2.) He didn't even know about Madara, unlike the 1st hokage who was Madara's rival and knew a lot more about him.

His wood style is able to tame the bijuus. That is what makes him so great. He also created all wood type techniques as well as the foundation for which konoha was built upon.
I don't know on this one. Hashirama has shown us nothing that proves he can keep up with minato in speed, but we really don't know that much about Hashirama other than his woodstyle and that he had great strength. I say draw for now. If Hashirama can't catch Minato than he can't do anything to him.

Once again you guys are going on feats to prove who wins a battle when in fact in naruto it's all about matchups. The fact remains that Hashirama has showed nothing that proves he can keep up with minato in speed, which means he can't beat him if he can't catch him. I'm not saying Minato will win because in my last i said it would be a draw and i'm sticking with that, but in naruto battles come down to who matches up best with who. Like Killer B vs Kisame. Killer B was easily stronger than kisame, but kisame had the arsenal to take him down.
His wood style was very powerful and he probably had more powerful jutsus that we never got to see, we will probably see more of him before madara dies madara will probably have a long flashback and in that flashback we will see how he lost to hashirama and maybe other of hashirama's techniques (if he had more). That's my opinion and I think that the first would beat minato any day because he is more experienced and probably has more stamina.
