I'm sure there's something we don't know about that Madara v Hashirama fight. I seriously can't believe Madara lost, he couldn't have..

I´m sure Prime Madara had better control over his ems and knows how to use it better then asuke, Itachi won´t make a difference in this fight, Hashirama for the win.

Itachi placed fear in Madara. and took out a sannin like it was going of style. He's dangerous.

Sasuke also. Madara himself stated that Sasuke would become more powerful than Nagato. Orochimaru has also said that Sasuke has the potential to surpass Itachi.

Sasuke is a genius, he literally mastered MS in the space of a week. And awoke Susano'o which is rare among the Uchiha, further establishing him as a genius and the cream of the crop among the Uchiha. He'd have no trouble mastering EMS, he'd be just like Madara

EMS is likely Sasuke's last upgrade and with it his potential must be realized. The only person he'll be comparable to then is an EMS Madara in his prime

EMS Sasuke = Hashirama
but EMS Sasuke + Itachi >> Hashirama
