seriously Madara is the strongest... after the So6P... edo Hashirama got raped by the 3rd...Compare edo Madara with edo Hashirama u can clear see the huge gap between them.

Madara surpassed Hashirama after there Battle @ Valley end. He obtained some of Hashirama's Power and a waken the rinnegan...and clearly u have seen what he can do... F.Y.I after that battle Madara didnt Die...and if u think am just makin it up go re-read the Manga where Kabuto Was talkin to Edo Madara...

He got some of his power but He didn't get all of it his wood techniques ain't the real deal like Hashiramas. And besides eyes isn't everything Hashirama have the body of the younger son of the sage while Madara at that point didn't have the eyes of the elder brother he had ems not rinnegan at that point so Hashirama was stronger. We can't really tell if Madara or Hashirama is stronger atm but since Hashirama defeated him I'm sure he has a way to counter rinnegan somehow he must already know of it.

Sarutobi sealed both hokages but this doesn't mean that he was stronger then Hashirama in his prime rofl. Hashirama probably knows all techniques lol since the third was said to have known all jutsus and first was his teacher and plus he had his scroll sealed one that naruto stole in beggening of episodes.

The manga clearly shows us how overpower he is, he defeated Madara in the valley of end even though Madara had the Nine-tails/Kurama in controll. Even Madara said the man I respect the most is Hashirama senju even though he hated him.

Both Minato and Hiruzen (prime) are hyped to be stronger than hashirama.

And hashirama fought EMS madara not Rinnegan Madara. EMS madara was about to get easily owned by an oonoki who couldn't use dust release, gaara whom was extremely exhausted, and a naruto CLONE so beating EMS Madara isn't all that amazing. Hashirama also took control of the ninetails partway in the battle, so he had the ninetails on his side.

Hashi would get WTF destroyed by rinnegan madara.

Hashirama senju seeing other people of his time he might have been truly gr8 but see my take...

I think he had a special thorny bushes in the a** no jutsu which he used on everyone (including bijuus) he planted seeds of those thorny bushes in the opponents a** the seed being small went unnoticed ( he used multiple shadow clone and infinite darkness to plant in multiple and strong opponents) and seeing his chakra and healing capabilities he can survive the battle long enough to plant the thorny bushes seeds in literally anyone's a** then its all just simple.....

JUTSU ACTIVATED .... so he was able to beat madara ( mann no wonder a sharingan guy awakened his rinnegan in his last moments just imagine what kind if a fight would it had been considering senju used multiple seeds in madara's a** his eyes just popped and upgraded before dying...lol...xdxdxdxd and no wonder madara wants revenge so badly ..... and that's the reason most of senju's jutsus are banned...xdxd

or perhaps the kyuubi chose Hashirama over Madara just like he chose to aid Naruto over Madara when Current Madara used wood style.

And about the fight Hiruzen had against hashirama. I wouldn't really say to judge it out of it since Hashirama was being controlled by Orochimaru and Hiruzen was old and not necessarily in his prime. So I guess I could say that they were both pretty much handicapped.

By now you should know that Tobi is a liar. Also that line you quoted was from Tobi and Tobi isn't even Madara. Also I think the only reason Madara fought Hashhirama was to gain more power, I think he threw the fight to gain it. Tobi=liar Tobi=/=Madara
To get back on topic a lot of people can beat the first hokage. Nagato, Naruto, Tobi(w Rinnegan), Sasuke (w EMS), Fourth hokage, Third hokage.
