Hashirama is a little too different imo for being Ashura's reincarnation.
I know that Hashirama has more common sense but, doesn't that seem a little too different for Ashura and his reincarnation's optimism. I know that they don't have to follow it, but he firmly believed that he killed Madara, and was strong enough to do it and not die too and would willingly kill other's who were/are threats to the village.
Might be a pointless thread...
but, whatever. Your thoughts?
Here it stated that Indra and Ashura destroyed each other's bodies, "Even though their bodies were destroyed..." That was what Naruto blabbed to Sasuke, they'd die together; Naruto trying to redeem Sasuke like Ashura to Indra before.

Hashirama went the complete opposite direction and steeled himself to just kill Madara and end his threat to the village as opposed to the whole "dying together" nonsense.
