LOL I know exactly what you mean man. But at the same time, bear in mind part one power scaling was muuuuuuch lower than it is in part two, so Hiruzen beating Hashirama and Tobirama together means he is likely the stronger shinobi, regardless of the flashiness of his fight. Hiruzen is *MOST LIKELY* the stongest Hokage of them all.

:sy:.....those edo hokages were not at their full strength clearly, they were being FORCED to fight meaning their hearts were not into it so they did not have " The Will Of Fire " that brings out their true strength. At that point the 3rd was fighting to protect the village, therefore will of fire and all that jazz.
PLUS he DID NOT beat them, he had to seal them away to have any hopes of sealing away Orochimaru. The true living 1st was much stronger than the 2nd-5th hands down.

let me set something straight Hashi's dna did not up madara's chakra y becaouse Yamato has the dna and the wood element but his a weakling all the dna did for madara was give him hashi's powers which he was using showing off with and the reason he used those wood clones i think they consume less chakra as it said that hasi had great chakra control to be able to heal urself with no hand seals and tsunade has great chakra control which she uses for her brute strength so i say madara had greater chakra then hashi but his techs take way too much chakra and hashi had an upper hand coz if u have great chakra control and fuujin techs that dont require alot of chakra u gonna own anyone depending on the skill u have
I'm just assuming, I mean he couldn't God mod around like that before he got the cells and edo'd back to life. If he could the 1st would have had no hope at all, so the EDO is doing something to increase his chakra beyond simply having the 1st's cells like you said. Because Yamato is chicken shit
i dont know uf u noticed but madara is not all that his strength comes from people fearing him and he over whelms them with OP stuff tsunade is being reckless and the raikage A well his fighting style is shit the Muzikage has lava and acid water and fire and earth but she's using them wrong gaara's defence is acting like shit too and the tsutsikage is the only 1 thats trying to stay strong so i say madara is powerful just not as much as we think hashi out smarted madara and if u take a look same thing is happening to sasuke he just plainly fights lately without thinknig trying to over whelm his opponents with power and that will be they down fall madara just has alot of battle expierence with all the kages combined thats his advantage
The current Madara (edo) is simply much stronger beyond his prime.
He also got Rinnegan, endless chakra (edo), AND HASHIRAMA'S abilities.
So don't compare current Madara to Hashirama.

We are not sure of that yet. Kabuto admitted he had no idea what Madara's prime was like. And Perfect Susano of Madara's is less comparable to Hashirama. He was the one who could control all tailed beasts and he distrubuted them to the other shinobi villages...

I guess madara was weaker cose he had to control kyuubi and fight by himself at the same time... honestly i dont see how hashirama is said to have defeated madara(to death that is xd ) and then we are still not sure if he faked his death or if he really died cose we are not sure if the one who controlled the mizukage was the real madara or tobi

whats so hard to understand?there's2 mayors factors involved first madara has been enhanced so he's more power then ever (how much more powerful is not certain) 2ndly the first series was on a different power scale then shippuuden.kishi obviously wanted to go out with a bang that's why ee're seeing kamehamehas and meteors.if the first series were created with this power scale then the fight between the 3rd,2nd and 1st would be like the fights are now...which would have sucked in my opinion.every one is on steriods in shippuuden

maybe madara didnt even have that susano'o during his rumble with hashi.. instead he unlocked rinniegan near the end of the fight.. meaning rinnegan gave his susanoo a huge power boost.
