If anything, Madara staying would because he was alive when Edo Tensei was created by Tobirama; which since he was alive, during its creation, may have found a weakness in the jutsu and exploited it. Madara is something of a genius, so it would not surprise me if he found a way negate the “recall effect” of Edo Tensei. If anything he should be able to, being as he is Madara Uchiha.

madara goes poof but susanoo stays?
So we see that perfect susanoo is now "fixated" or "chakra stabilized". This might mean that if madara goes poof the susanoo may remain! Maybe the gedo mazo was created in a similar fashion originally...

actually there IS a madara vs hashirama video in youtube , which looks pretty original , and yes madara didn't use susanoo or any eye technique in it ,only the nine tails and ems , katon, etc but THE VIDEO/ FLASHBACKS YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT ARE THE PLAYSTATION VERSION , not the manga version,,, in the manga madara says his susanoo can be defeated only by hashirama

how does madara copy mokuton ? thats a mystery to me ,,, the entire point of haku + zabuza vs kakashi fight was that KAKASHI CAN"T COPY A BLOODLINE LIMIT...Hashirama defeated madara cuz madara didnt had mokton and rinne then again its unblievable mass spamming susanos

Yeah I think the same here...how about the gedo mazo is the original summon used by the 1st. I am gonna look into this more. Maybe it was past down...what other place would u keep tailed beasts?

kabuto is not just ending edo tensei, I think he is releasing the souls of the ninja he bound to the ninja world.
just ending an edo summon causes it's coffin to appear and traps the edo in there, but he can be summoned again, deidara is the perfect example of that when they first went after the turtle island and later he was used in the ambush squad.
what's happening now is that they are all glowing and a beam shoots up, even the ones that were sealed on page 13 are glowing. so it has to be different, I'm guessing it's a release of the bond and the original sacrifice (the living vessel) will appear again (but then dead)
I am guessing however that this only aplies to edo's that are currently summoned, ones that he isn't using (like torune that was used to demonstrate the binding ritual)
so madara would also fall under this group, he should also be released from his binds, however I think madara can use his rinnegan to escape from leaving this plane, and sort of bring himself back to full life and the kages will still have their hands full.
or perhaps kabuto is going to use Anko now, since she is still alive and he hinted to needing a living sacrifice later on. one possibility might be that he still has some madara dna left and is going to bind him onto Anko. madara then realizing that kabuto is only a weakness in his presence in this world takes kabuto out.

I can't believe this thread is still going and what some people are saying based SOLELY on what they SEE. Read the chapter over and don't just SEE or LOOK at the pictures. Madara says it one more time in case that wasn't enough for the people who still don't believe it.
Whether it was Mokutun/Wood Style or whatever it was, Madara knew he would get beat and obviously went in to fighting Hashi with some type of plan to get his DNA to put this whole battle/plan into fruition. I mean Kishi has written it THROUGH THE CHARACTER AKA MADARA IS SAYING IT. If you don't believe the Writer/creator maybe at least believe the character saying it??? ;p
P.S. - I find it way more amazing that the Raikage got caught in a genjutsu in the last chapter. That is way more note-worthy because everyone on this board pretty much believes he is the strongest/best overall Kage.
