Both hashirama must have had very good genjutsu defense. I mean they have been fighting uchihas for years. They must have some form of resistance or way of combating the sharingan. Because during the fight between madara and hashirama they seemed to have made eye contact several times. Yet hashirama wasn't genjutsu'd to our knowledge.

What method do you guys think they use to combat genjutsu. Or were they just too much for the uchihas they fought I.:dunno:.

That was tsukuyomi. regular sharingan genjutsu drains very little chakra. sasuke and itachi spammed it at each other during their fight.
obito and kakshi spammed it at each other during their fight.
