No, you=twisting information to fit your own bias. When Sasuke and Hiruzen talked about Itachi, they didn't mention his skills. Therefore, since Hashirama died before Itachi was born, he can't know about his abilities. Therefore, he wasn't saying that Itachi was more skilled than him, because he didn't know about Itachi's skills.

no it isnt. itachi didnt feel any regret for his actions and thus didnt regret butchering babies and torturing innocent children. hashirama agonised over every hard decision he ever had to make. itachi tried to kill kaashi like he was batting away an annoying fly
