That was base aizen..i highly doubt someone even as smart as aizen could perdict how much stronger he'd get.

Butterfly aizens reiatsu is undetectable to captain level soul reapers.he was able to move from a mid range position to gin so fast,he literally couldn't even react.he was so fast he one shotted him.
